In household 122, the enumerator wrote the surname as 'Nowlin', a suggested alternative surname is 'Nowlan'. The person suggesting the alternative surname provided this comment: 'Although Nowlin is correct family surname - over time spelling became Nowlan - family members have spelled it with an "a" for at least last 50 yrs that I can remember'.

This correction was evaluated by Mark Gallop: I have checked the image of the original form and am very sure that the suggested correction does not reflect the original.
