Surname Notes On This Page

In household 1, the enumerator wrote the surname as 'Bowland', a suggested alternative surname is 'Bouland'. The person suggesting the alternative surname provided this comment: 'Sarah would seem to be my ggrandmother, she married a Robert Bouland, I believe the Robert shown here is a stepson,and I think this should show as Widowed The George Hughy should be spelled Hughey '.
