On line 35, the value for the surname field is "Cottrill", the suggested correction is "Cottrell". Submitted by Margaret Cox. The following comment was attached: The sixth letter in the surname is not dotted as an "i" would be. Note the "i"s on the lines above and below.
This correction was evaluated by L.M. Bradley: I have checked the image of the original form and am very sure that the suggested correction does not reflect the original. This comment was added: The family was locally known as "Cottrill". There are other dots missing from i's on the page also, i.e., in Finlayson on line 45 and Catherine on line 9.
