Blair S. Cochran Blair S. Cochran 93, of Drew Nursing Home, Sackville and formerly of Taylor Village, Dorchester and Salisbury passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday July 14, 2003. Born in Taylor Village, son of the Late Stephen and Ellora (Newcomb) Cochran. Blair was a retired farmer and carpenter, member of Salisbury United Baptist Church and former choir member at Dorchester United Baptist Church. In past years he enjoyed gardening and camping with his wife. Blair will be sadly missed by his daughters, Ellora Laird, Gwen MacIntyre (Conan), Moncton; Grandchildren: Danny, Arlene, Kim, Karen, Craig, Kathy; Great Grandchildren, Stephanie, Amanda, Morgan. Several nieces and nephews. Blair was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Predeceased by his wife, Apphia (Turner) Cochran (1997); Sisters, Janie, Hilda, Ethel; Brothers, Wesley, Ervin, Russell. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Friday 2-4, and 7-9. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday July 19, 2003, 1:30pm. Pastor Tim Guptill officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Dorchester Rural Cemetery.
