Title: Injuries Prove Fatal
The death took place last evening at 7:30 in the City Hospital of Mr. Sanford Smith, of Upper Dorchester, who was severely injured by being kicked in the stomach by a horse on his farm last Thursday evening. The deceased was rushed to the Moncton Hospital on the Maritime Express the night of his injury and it was found upon examination that his condition was very serious and little hope was held out for his recovery. The late Mr. Smith was in his 59th year and is survived by a widow and one son. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed but it is expected interment will take place at Dorchester. |
