CRAWFORD, DOROTHY C.

1910 - 2015

Dorothy C. Crawford, 105, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2015 at the home with her family by her side.

Dorothy was born in Cape Enrage, Albert County, NB on October 1st, 1910 the daughter of the late William and May (Cleveland) Munson.

Her life was dedicated to being a mom and grandmother, raising her family was her first priority. She was a faithful member of the Hillsborough Baptist Church having taught Sunday School for several years. She was a Life member of the Women's Missionary Society, sang with the Silver Chords Choir and was always willing to help when needed. Dorothy enjoyed travelling and being around her family and friends. She will be remember red for her sweet smile and kind and caring ways which will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever. She is now hearing the words "Well done my good and faithful servant."

She will be deeply missed by daughter, Joan Crosthwaite of Moncton; sons, Gerald Crawford (Barb) of Mississauga, Cecil Crawford (Lottie) of Riverview and Bill Crawford (Linda) of Quispamsis; her treasured grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and one precious great-great-great-grandchild. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law, several nieces, nephews and extended family at Spencer's and her church family.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband Earle Crawford; son, Vincent Crawford; daughter, Lois Herrington; two grandsons; sister, Minerva Thompson; brothers, Stanley Munson and Garfield Munson.

Visitation will be held at the Hillsborough Baptist Church on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. The funeral service and celebration of her life will be held at the Hillsborough Baptist Church, 26 Braam Crescent, Hillsborough on Saturday, December 12th, 2015 at 1:00pm with Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating and Pastor Geoff deJong assisting. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lower Cape, NB.

Donations to the Hillsborough Baptist Church, Mountain View Cemetery, K.E. Spencer Home or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated.
